Hi, I'm WhoAteMyButter.
I make Minecraft maps (amongst other things) for the public to enjoy. This is where I post my maps, creations, images, packs, or anything else!

Introduction to my character, hope you like it because it's all you get.

Who are you?

Hello! I'm WhoAteMyButter, a person that makes Minecraft maps; a lot of them on here. I also create toolkits/resources that other people can use to form their own stuff.

What do you do?

I make maps, toolkits, resource packs, and other various gadgets to help myself and others create better maps, and better content.
Most of my creations are standalone maps, though.

Where can I contact you?

My only contact is through Discord. Join the Minecraft discord, and look for me there.
For privacy reasons, I can't post it directly (sorry!).

Things I've done and/or worked on.

Automatic, extensible, future-proof Minecraft server installer.

Cracked MC Hosts Fixer

A short shell script to remove malicious cracked Minecraft hosts.

Hypixel Commands

Project to document every Hypixel command that has been found so far.

Rail Rider

Rail Rider is an adventure-platformer map like no other!
Jaunt a metal cart through a myriad of lanes to obtain the Fragments!
Unravel brand new tracks, from ancient to ultramodern, all the while aggregating the Fragments to tear down that section's barrier!
Traverse along 9 entire installments to conquer all 23 levels to annex the final match!
Decorate yourself with hats & headgear, or refurnish all the quartz rooms, from a sandstone look to an evil nether brick paint!
Discover hidden Trophies to decipher a bonus room, all to ride the sky-high tourist rail to overlook the level grid!
Built through over the course of 2 years, Rail Rider is a monolithic Minecraft world, chock full of features and adventure!

Butter's Golf Resort

I welcome you to Butter's Golf Resort, a 18-hole golf course!
It is a full 18-hole course, with pars, custom tracks, and contrasting obstacles!
Drop the golf-ball into 18 individual holes and try to get below par!
Change the default game-rules, play in the rain, or try to hit the ball in the dusk!
Keep your score with a scorecard and play with an infinite amount of friends!

Four Black Walls

Four Black Walls is an interactive map that took almost a whole year to fully build, develop, and test.
Every time you step, or look at an object, it tells you something about it, or maybe gives you the option to do something with it.
Be careful though! You are still trapped in this parallel world, and you may never wake up. Or so that's what the narrator says. Oh well.
With 5 different and individual endings, with goals along the way, it's not just any map. It's a perspective on life itself.

After 2 weeks of work, it is complete with 18 levels, puzzles, 5 sections, fancy-shmancy hats,
172 command blocks, inter-dimensional traveling, big-nosed villagers, fluffy polar bears, and to top it all off, 0% bugs!

Happenings, good or bad.

February 5th, 2020

Added social media links at the bottom of the page, in the footer.

January 23rd, 2020

Added absolute script and CSS URLs, added /tests/ page.

Redesigned the entire website, everything is on one page now. Everything is actively responsive, and was built from the ground up. Grapesjs.com is responsible for the initial layout and CSS, but I worked on the JavaScript, accessibility, meta, animation, and responsiveness. Hope you enjoy the new website as much as I do.

December 26th, 2019

Fixed domain issues and major 404's. DNS resolves work now.

December 7th, 2019

I fixed the download pages for most of the maps, and the downloads work correctly now. Some maps could not be recovered, and I have marked them as "Unavailable". These maps are:
  • Golf Course
  • Shattered Pixel Dungeon Kit

November 21st, 2019

Changed the CSS to be slightly more responsive. I hope to work on animations more in the future, but I just don't have enough time.

November 7th, 2019

I recently installed a new DE and basically wiped my drive. Took a bit to get all the backups reinstated, but everything should work fine now. Sorry for the short downtime.

October 9th, 2019

I realized that the domain I used to use (privatedns.org) was not renewed and sadly I didn't get to it until today.
While doing general checking, I noticed I couldn't connect to the server anymore and found the source of the issue.
Worry not, I have gotten an entirely new domain name and have switched everything over to the new ufodns.com domain.
Privatedns.org will no longer function, but I will indefinitely hold it in my account so no one can steal it.
If it does become renewed at some time, I will continue to use this domain name.
Today, I also added the News tab just for this purpose. Thank you all for reading.
